My journey into efficient outdoor cooking started after a disastrous college trip relying solely on instant ramen. Since then, I’ve spent over a decade mastering high-volume, low-equipment meals, honed during seasons as a trail crew cook in the North Cascades. I spend 80-100 nights a year camping always with my MSR WhisperLite stove and my titanium spork. My goal is simple: eliminate the guesswork from camp meals. I obsessively track variables like fuel consumption, prep time, and calorie-to-weight ratios so you don’t have to.
